Toscana Divino | Key Biscayne
Italian restaurant Toscana Divino, once a staple at Mary Brickell Village, will re-open as a pop-up in Key Biscayne.
Toscana Divino Hospitality Group leased retail space at the Towers of Key Biscayne residential condominium at 1121 Crandon Boulevard, according to the tenant’s news release. The pop-up will be open on Fridays and Saturdays starting Oct. 4, Eater Miami reported.
Andrea Marchesin is the executive chef.
Tommaso Morelato, CEO of Toscana Divino Hospitality Group, founded Toscana Divino in 2012, opening the original outpost at Mary Brickell Village. That restaurant closed this year, according to Eater.
The tenant’s spokesperson didn’t immediately provide the square footage leased or how long the pop-up will remain open.
Joy By | Coral Gables
A Christmas decorations pop-up store is on tap in Coral Gables this holiday season.
Joy By will open from Oct. 1 to Dec. 30 in 5,700 square feet at 348 Miracle Mile, according to the landlord’s news release.
Coral Gables-based Terranova owns the two-story retail building, records show. Terranova is led by founder Stephen Bittel.
Mindy McIlroy and Lauren Robbins of Terranova represented the firm in the lease.
Led by founder Stephanie Dardenne, Joy By is the U.S. expansion of Dubai-based luxury Christmas decorations store Irony Home.
Ockap Caviar | Brickell
Restaurant Ockap Caviar, a new concept, will open in Brickell.
Ockap Caviar leased 2,100 square feet at one of the commercial spaces at the residential condominium at 1060 Brickell Avenue in Miami, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker.
Fabio and Sebastian Faerman represented the landlord. Jose Vidal of Cervera Real Estate represented the tenant.
Codel, a limited liability company, owns Ockap Cavier’s commercial unit, records show. The entity is tied to South American private investors, said Sebastian Faerman, who declined to disclose their identity.
Ockap Caviar, which took over Granier Bakery’s space, is expected to open either by year-end or early next year, Vidal said.
Planet Fitness | West Little River
Planet Fitness will open in Miami-Dade County’s West Little River neighborhood.
The gym leased 20,000 square feet at the Northside Shopping Centre at 7900 Northwest 27th Avenue in an unincorporated area of the county, according to the tenant’s news release. Planet Fitness will open in November.
North Miami-based IMC Equity Group owns Northside Shopping Centre. Yoram Izhak is CEO of IMC Equity.
Freddo | Dadeland Mall, Miami International Mall
Italian-style gelato store Freddo will open at two Miami-Dade County malls, marking its continued expansion.
Freddo will open next year in a 668-square-foot space at Dadeland Mall’s food court. and in a 600-square-foot space at Miami International Mall, according to the tenant’s broker.
Fabio and Sebastian Faerman represented Freddo.
Indianapolis, Indiana-based Simon Property Group owns Dadeland Mall at 7535 North Kendall Drive in the Kendall neighborhood. and Miami International Mall at 1455 Northwest 107th Avenue in Doral.
This year, Freddo also leased space at 5562 South Flamingo Road in Cooper City, and 20385-20465 State Road 7 in the Mission Bay Plaza in unincorporated Palm Beach County.
