Bagel Emporium & Grille | Coral Gables
Bagel Emporium & Grille will move its Coral Gables restaurant to CMC Group’s 4000 Ponce building in the city.
The bagel and deli shop leased 9,000 square feet on the ground floor at the office and retail building at 4000 Ponce de Leon Boulevard, according to the landlord’s news release. Bagel Emporium, which now is at 1238 South Dixie Highway, will move next year.
Alex Cesar and Drew Schaul were part of the CBRE team that represented the landlord. Bob Burstein from KW Commercial represented the tenant.
Miami-based CMC Group, led by founder Ugo Colombo, completed the nine-story 4000 Ponce in 2002 with 150,000 square feet of offices and 32,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, the release says.
The building is anchored by The Collection luxury car dealership, which Colombo co-owns. Other tenants include Steinway & Sons, Coldwell Banker, Hemisphere Media Group, Korn Ferry, Evensky & Katz, Pure Barre and Jetset Pilates.
Karma Bath & Body, Orientica, more | Coconut Creek
AEW Capital Management scored four tenants at its Promenade at Coconut Creek mixed-use complex.
Family owned business Karma Bath & Body opened a 1,900-square-foot store, and perfumery Orientica opened a 1,000-square-foot store, according to a news release from Promenade at Coconut Creek. Also, baby and children’s clothes and toy store Happy Monkey opened in a 1,000-square-foot space. Next month, technology repair provider My Phone Lab will open in an 1,800-square-foot space.
The 23-acre Promenade, at 4401-4473 Lyons Road in Coconut Creek, consists of offices, retail and dining space, as well as an 11-screen Silverspot Cinema, the release says.
Boston-based AEW paid $85.5 million for the property in 2016. The global investment firm’s North America CEO is Jonathan Martin.
Victoria’s Secret | Miami Beach
Victoria’s Secret will move its Lincoln Road outpost across the pedestrian walkway.
Victoria’s Secret will open next summer in an 8,000-square-foot space at 900-904 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach, according to the landlord’s news release. Victoria’s Secret, now at 901 Lincoln Road, will open in Aerie’s space.
Jonathan Carter and Ryan Brodsky of Colliers represented the landlord. Brandon Nocella of Strategic Retail Advisors represented the tenant.
Dallas-based Alto Real Estate Funds owns the building where Victoria’s Secret will be opening. The firm, which is a series of closed-end investment funds, is led by founder Yaniv Melamud.
Jetset Pilates | Palm Beach Gardens
Jetset Pilates continues its South Florida expansion with plans for a Palm Beach Gardens outpost.
Franchise owner Zhana Gali leased 2,000 square feet at 1295 Legacy Avenue at the Legacy Place retail center, where she will open the Pilates studio, according to a Jetset news release.
Kimberly Lewis of KG Commercial at Compass represented Gali. John Ellis and Justin Callaway of Newmark represented the landlord.
A joint venture of private equity firm Lone Star Funds and retail investor Woolbright Development own Legacy Place. They paid $101.7 million for it in 2021.
Gali also opened a Jetset this year at 8236 Glades Road at the Lakeside Centre retail complex near Boca Raton.
