Marketing boss Jose Dans Jr. and his wife, Heide Dans, sold their Miami mansion for $15.8 million.
Records show the couple sold the house at 5050 Pine Drive to Shayna Punim LLC, a Delaware entity with Chicago attorney Barry Shkolnik signing on behalf of the buyer.
Jose and Angel Nicolas of Compass had the listing, and Compass agent Tristian Alexander represented the buyer.
Jose “Pepe” Dans Jr. is founder and president of WOW MKTG, a Coral Gables-based advertising agency that works with clients like Budweiser, CVS, the University of Miami, Kia, and the American Cancer Society.

The couple bought the Pine Drive house in Miami’s Ponce-Davis neighborhood for $4.2 million in 2020, records show. Built in 2007 on 1 acre, the 9,800-square-foot mansion has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool, according to records. The estate also has a media room, an office, an elevator and a staff kitchen, the listing shows. The Dans extensively renovated the home, Angel Nicolas confirmed.
“They gutted the entire house,” he said, although they kept the ivy wrapped around the mansion’s exterior.
Nicolas said demand for luxury homes in Ponce-Davis is growing, as it is one of the few central Miami neighborhoods with large lots.
In September, self-storage mogul Jay Massirman bought a home in the neighborhood for $8.5 million. In 2022, UM head football coach Mario Cristobal bought a mansion there for $7.9 million.
