South Florida real estate firms bolstered their leadership in the latest roundup of hiring news.
Iker Belauste returned to JLL as a vice president in its Miami office, according to a press release. Belauste started at JLL in 2019 as an associate, and left for CBRE in 2023 where he was a senior associate. In his new role at JLL, he will focus on office tenant representation in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, the release shows.
In Coral Gables, Bass Law brought in former Judge Jennifer D. Bailey, a press release shows. Bailey retired last year after 31 years on the bench. She spent most of her career with the Civil Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, and primarily focused on complex business litigation. She will continue working on complex business cases, as well as private judging and dispute resolution, according to the release.

The multifamily developer Bozzuto promoted Keri Walker Pfeifer to managing director of operations, according to a social media post. Walker Pfeifer joined the Greenbelt, Maryland-based firm in 2009. In 2017, she was promoted to senior vice president, overseeing the firm’s expansion into South Florida. In her new role, Walker Pfeifer oversees all Northeast and Southeast markets, the post shows.
